As a Principal Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital platform, designing, developing, and deploying innovative technology solutions that will enable us to build tomorrow's bank today. You'll lead the engineers and implement complex technical solutions in a cloud-based environment, ensuring the highest possible quality standards while balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design technology solutions to meet the highest possible quality standards while balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns.
  • Deliver core technical strategies to achieve business outcomes by acting as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Design and implement innovative technical solutions to complex problems, including onboarding and migrating to new tooling as well as removing obsolete systems and code.
  • Translate project vision into actionable plans and influence teams across boundaries to ensure faster decision making for organizational wide outcomes.
  • Encourage risk-taking and constructively challenge the status quo while influencing stakeholders and building diverse and inclusive teams.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with a solid technical background in building and designing cloud platforms using AWS, expertise in setting up DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring tools, and a thorough understanding of large-scale distributed systems, solution design, and architecture principles.

Proficiency in C#,.NET Core,.NET Framework, Kafka, Microservices, JavaScript frameworks - Angular, React, and databases - SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB, and Aurora is also essential.
