Payroll Implementation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Specialist to lead the full end-to-end implementation of our payroll system. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver a smooth and successful transition.

  • Job Description:
  • The Payroll Implementation Specialist will be responsible for leading all phases of the payroll system implementation, from requirements gathering to go live, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring awards, pay rules, and entitlements within a system to meet compliance requirements.
  • A strong background in data integration between HRIS and payroll systems is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the end-to-end implementation of a payroll system.
  • Hands-on expertise configuring awards, pay rules, and entitlements within a system to meet compliance requirements.
  • Strong background in data integration between HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Experience supporting payroll projects within a multi-site, shift-based workforce.
  • A track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Implementation Leadership – drive all phases of the payroll system implementation.
  2. System Design & Configuration – set up and configure payroll settings.
  3. Data Integrity – identify, cleanse, and map data to resolve discrepancies.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement – work with Payroll, HR, Operations, IT, and Finance.
  5. Testing & Training – manage User Acceptance Testing, create clear training documentation.
  6. Post-Implementation Support – provide troubleshooting, ongoing system optimization.
