Senior Program Officer

Join a dynamic organization and contribute to the recovery of communities affected by disasters. As a Senior Program Officer, you will lead impactful programs that strengthen disaster resilience across NSW.

The role is based in Parramatta/Sydney or Lismore, with flexible/hybrid working environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure programs are evidence-based and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead research and provide expert advice on program development and delivery.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and coordinate government programs.
  • Develop and manage complex program initiatives that support state-wide planning, preparedness, response, and recovery.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including reports, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Ability to conduct and apply research to inform program development.
