Transformational Change Specialist Role Overview

The Transformational Change Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping impactful change across the department.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing tailored change strategies, delivering engaging workshops, facilitating collaboration across teams, and measuring adoption and benefits.

This role focuses on enhancing organisational capability within the department’s integrated project and change framework, building change leadership skills, and cultivating a culture that embraces innovation.

The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders to align initiative purpose, provide advice to initiative teams on managing projects, and embed change practices in high-profile projects.

They will build organisational readiness and capability by coordinating and delivering training and awareness programs, supporting leaders to apply the impact framework, and running sessions with the change and innovation network to strengthen the department’s change culture.

Additionally, they will provide coaching, mentoring and practical advice that empowers staff to navigate complexity and lead initiatives with confidence.

Digital platforms like Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Menti will be tools of their trade, helping them engage staff, capture feedback, and co-design solutions in real time.
