Digital Health Transformation Leader

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in positioning the health service as a leader in digital health transformation on a state, national and international level. This role encompasses the full spectrum of digital health innovation, including virtual care, telehealth, remote monitoring, digital tools and other emerging technologies that support contemporary and integrated models of care.

This is a strategic leadership role that requires expertise in digital health, clinical information systems, and the ability to drive measurable improvements in clinical safety and quality through the development, implementation and evaluation of digital health systems and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purpose: Provide strategic advice to senior leadership regarding digital health.
  • Representation: Represent and advocate for the health service at governance, oversight committees and key forums.
  • Development: Assist stakeholders to develop and drive strategic plans for the integration of digital technologies and solutions to provide efficiency and value to the delivery of healthcare.
  • Culture: Provide leadership in relation to digital health to foster a culture that promotes the use of digital capability to enhance efficiency and value at all levels of the health service.

Requirements:

Skillset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, build relationships and influence decision-making at multiple levels.
