Lead Digital Transformation Specialist

The role of Lead Digital Transformation Specialist leads the digital transformation of Queensland's education system, modernising platforms and delivering innovative, equitable solutions for all schools.

This is a contract role that oversees a division tasked with embedding digital innovation system-wide, driving strategic investments in ICT, platforms and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

About You / Qualifications

A seasoned executive with a track record of leading large-scale digital or organisational transformation in complex environments.

Deep experience in shaping strategy, policy implementation and service delivery across diverse sectors.

Confident communicator and negotiator who can engage and influence at the highest levels while fostering trust and collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

Resilient and forward-looking, able to thrive in complexity and ambiguity, anticipating disruption and turning it into opportunity.

About the Role Details

Reporting directly to the Director-General, the Lead Digital Transformation Specialist will serve as the Department's most senior digital executive, responsible for leading a bold transformation agenda.

Oversight of the department's digital portfolio and embedding innovation at the heart of Queensland's education system.
