Job Opportunity:

  • Host sector meetings, meet face-to-face with organisations, and webinars to educate on child safety standards and Working With Children Check.
  • Provide advice and information to organisations on child safety standards, children's employment legislation, and the Working With Children Check.
  • Assess organisations' ability to apply child safety standards and provide guidance and advice.

About the Role:

The Investigator is responsible for providing expert advice and support to sectors that provide services to children, ensuring compliance with child safety standards and legislation.

This role involves conducting investigations, audits, and compliance operations to identify non-compliance with child safety standards and recommending enforcement action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake activities to assess organisations' compliance with legislation and provide guidance and advice.
  • Conduct investigations, audits, and compliance operations to identify non-compliance with child safety standards.
  • Provide concise advice and accurate information to organisations and stakeholders on child safety standards and legislation.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or willingness to undertake studies to achieve certification.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Satisfactory completion of security and vetting checks.
  • Current driver's licence for travel associated with the role.
