Heavy Plant Operator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Operator to join our team on a large-scale excavation and earthworks package in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of heavy plant and equipment to achieve project milestones. This is a great opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project with a highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavators and other plants to complete bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and trenching works.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS standards, site safety procedures, and environmental controls.
  • Undertake excavation works in proximity to live services with care and precision.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors, Engineers, Surveyors, and fellow operators.
  • Optimise machine use to meet program and productivity targets while minimising rework.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating an excavator.
  • Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
  • Ideally worked on large sites with 20+ excavators.
  • Strong financial analysis and administrative focus.
