Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Plant Operator Waste Operations.

This position requires the ability to operate heavy plant equipment, manage resources efficiently, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Team Leader Waste Operations to achieve council objectives and contribute to the development of a culture of quality customer service and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple heavy plant items efficiently and safely.
  • Manage resources effectively to minimize waste and optimize landfill operations.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality customer service and teamwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence.
  • Current Construction General Induction Card – Safework NSW or equivalent.
  • Statement of Attainment of Verification of Competency for an Excavator, Loader, and/or Articulated Loader issued by a regulator or hold a nationally recognised statement of attainment or equivalent evidence of competency.
