This part-time position is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in payroll and accounts management. The role involves performing various tasks, including weekly payroll processing, interpreting employment agreements, and handling queries from suppliers and customers.
About the Role:The successful applicant will work directly under the CFO, assisting with financial duties such as bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and timely payment of invoices. Additionally, they will be responsible for providing support to the finance team as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Weekly payroll processing for 100 employees
- Interpreting various employment agreements and awards
- Payment of superannuation and tax
- Processing new starters, terminations, and payroll adjustments
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoice processing and timely payment
- Handling queries from suppliers and customers
- Providing support to the finance team
- Proven experience in payroll and accounts management
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible part-time hours (~20 hours/week)
