
Lead Collaborator Engagement Professional

As a lead collaborator engagement professional, you will spearhead efforts to engage and support vulnerable and marginalised customer groups. This role focuses on inclusive outcomes, ensuring our interactions are consistent, coordinated, and respectful.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a lead collaborator engagement professional will include:
1. Identifying, analysing, and prioritising key external collaborators from community groups, advocacy organisations, and customer representation bodies.
2. Developing and maintaining robust governance frameworks to manage collaborator relationships effectively, incorporating feedback into our business decision-making processes.
3. Fostering strong, trust-based relationships with external collaborators from diverse, vulnerable, or marginalised customer segments.
4. Serving as a liaison between the organisation and community organisations, ensuring their voices are reflected in our business practices and policy development.
5. Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., customer care, regulatory affairs, inclusion & diversity, government relations, product, corporate affairs) to ensure alignment and consistency in collaborator engagement.
6. Proactively identifying and addressing collaborator concerns and reputational risks through thoughtful engagement and remediation strategies.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of collaboration experience, ideally in a heavily regulated or customer-focused sector.
- Deep understanding of issues affecting vulnerable or marginalised communities and experience working directly with representative organisations.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills - able to navigate complexity and build consensus across diverse groups.
- Experience in designing and implementing collaborator mapping tools, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
- High emotional intelligence, cultural proficiency, and a collaborative approach.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the organisation credibly at external forums.
