About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Tooling and Equipment Specialist to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the availability, cost, and compliance of tooling and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend solutions to issues related to tooling and equipment through data analysis.
- Manage TME maintenance requirements and suppliers.
- Develop and implement processes to support safe and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and relationship management.
- Research and identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Valid State Drivers Licence
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications relevant to the role, or relevant trade qualification
- Minimum 1 years' aviation experience across relevant operations
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to design maintenance processes to support safe and efficient operations knowledge
- Working knowledge of tooling, maintenance equipment and facility equipment used across industries, preferably aviation
- Understanding of aviation related regulations including regulatory frameworks (i.e. CASA/EASA)
