The Centre Cook plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming an integral part of our community.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals to cater for special dietary requirements and allergies, ensuring the health and wellbeing of our children.
- Develop menus and order food supplies in consultation with centre leadership, maintaining exceptional standards of quality and consistency.
- Maintain rigorous standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic, adhering to relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or extensive experience cooking within a childcare setting, demonstrating expertise and skills in menu planning, food preparation and presentation.
- Current Western Australia Working with Children Check, verifying suitability for working with vulnerable populations.
