Culinary Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and talented Culinary Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and execute menus that showcase local seasonal ingredients.

The role involves:

  1. Collaborating with the Executive Chef to design and implement menus that highlight local produce.
  2. Organizing and optimizing kitchen operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  3. Fostering a culture of exceptional guest service and ensuring that culinary staff meet brand standards.
  4. Creating special menus, suggesting alternatives, and engaging with customers to exceed their culinary expectations.
  5. Maintaining kitchen operating costs and stock control, taking corrective action when necessary to balance cost and stock.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  1. Cert III or higher in Commercial Cookery and A la carte experience required.
  2. Previous experience in a 5-star hotel environment preferred.
  3. Possession of passion, creativity, and a desire to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic culinary brigade.
  4. Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  5. Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  6. Naturally curious and driven, with a willingness to try new things and grow your professional career.
