Job Title: Culinary Innovator

We are seeking a talented and experienced Culinary Innovator to join our Research & Development team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing new meal concepts, enhancing existing products, and collaborating across departments to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and creating innovative meal concepts aligned with market trends, customer needs, and demographics.
  • Challenging and improving existing products and processes to elevate and evolve our current range.
  • Collaborating with commercial, production, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and effective implementation.
  • Conducting consumer testing and taste panels to gather valuable insights and feedback.
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and GMP in the R&D kitchen.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a chef or product development professional.
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Strong culinary knowledge, creativity, and passion for innovation.
  • Methodical approach and understanding of both art and science of cooking.
  • Ability to scale ingredients, assemble bench samples, and perform test kitchen tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
