We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join our team at Hamilton Island Golf Club. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

About the Role:

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, sauces).
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your designated section.
  • Support the Chef de partie in food preparation and special events.
  • Assist with food preparation and stock inventory.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

You will need to have:

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef or in a similar role.
  • A valid working rights in Australia (at least 6 months).
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic with a genuine passion for food.
