About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk, greeting and registering owners and guests, providing information about local attractions, administration, and managing any guest issues that may arise.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register owners and guests, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Provide information about local area attractions, activities, and services.
  • Manage guest complaints and issues, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, preferably Opera.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening.
  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bookkeeping/finance experience highly regarded.
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holiday periods.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
