We are seeking an experienced Vacation Ownership Operations Manager to join our team at Travel + Leisure Co. in Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk, including greeting and registering owners and guests, providing information about local area attractions, administration, and managing any guest issues that may arise.

You will also lead a team to promote high levels of customer service, building, developing, training, and motivating staff to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, preferably as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Duty Manager (3 years)
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Opera preferred
  • Events experience highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening
  • Detail-focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude, vibrant, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bookkeeping/finance experience highly regarded
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
