About the Position

The Information Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate information collection, organisation, and dissemination to inform decision-making and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for collecting and managing information from multiple sources.
  • Distributes information to various stakeholders.
  • Operates under general supervision.
  • Solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of the field and industry best practices.
  • Utilises expertise and problem-solving skills to develop and enhance processes.
  • May provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Database Administration.
  • Experience in Stock Control and Planned Maintenance (SCPM).
  • Experience working within the Department of Defence.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Tool (CMT)/TeamCentre.
  • Experience with Asset Maintenance Planning System (AMPS).
