Data Governance Framework Specialist

The Data Governance Policy Advisor plays a key role in supporting the implementation of ASIC's data governance framework within the RegistryConnect Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning project delivery with governance standards and documenting current practices.
- Support the development and implementation of standards, policies and processes
- Collaborate with Business Analyst to document current data governance practices
- Engage with Registry data teams and SMEs to assess existing governance processes
- Contribute to project planning, research, monitoring, and analysis
- Assist delivery teams in meeting data governance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply data governance policies and practices
- Work with complex data and embed data strategy across projects
- Plan and organize work to meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Management, Economics, Law, or related discipline
- Proven experience in developing and applying data governance policies and practices
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex data and embed data strategy
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
