Job Title: Environmental Field Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Environmental Field Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring environmental compliance requirements, preparing reports, and maintaining records. This role involves working with various equipment, including water testing instrumentation, pumps, irrigators, and trailers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring wastewater quality and collecting samples for laboratory tests
  • Maintaining water testing instrumentation and pond/dam levels
  • Assisting farm operatives with irrigation management strategies
  • Monitoring solid waste levels and air/odour emissions
  • Supporting the Cogeneration Operator with routine maintenance and inspections
  • Identifying energy efficiency opportunities

Required skills and experience include:

  • 3+ years field experience or Degree qualifications in Environmental Management, Agriculture, or Sustainability
  • Previous experience with Biogas Cogeneration Production and anaerobic digestion
  • Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and Forklift license desirable
