Associate Environmental Consultant - Contaminated Land

We are seeking an Associate Environmental Consultant to deliver contaminated land assessments that matter. You'll work with technical leads, regulators, and auditors to assess risk, manage sites, and influence major redevelopment projects across Queensland and beyond.

You'll Be Doing Things Like:
  • Conducting preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSIs, DSIs)
  • Designing and interpreting sampling, analysis and risk-based site assessments
  • Preparing remediation action plans and site management strategies
  • Developing Conceptual Site Models (CSMs)
  • Writing reports that are clear, sharp and regulator-ready
  • Collaborating with clients, auditors, labs and field teams
  • Guiding junior staff and contributing to a strong team culture
What You'll Need:
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar
  • Proven and dedicated experience in contaminated land consulting
  • A solid grasp of NEPM and relevant QLD guidelines (ESR, DES, CRC CARE)
  • Fieldwork confidence + technical writing chops
  • Strong client communication skills and commercial awareness
  • An analytical mindset and practical, solutions-focused approach
