About the Role

Gorilla Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our Clinical Diagnostic Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and collaborating with cardiologists to conduct stress echocardiograms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients with precision and accuracy.
  • Generate interim reports independently, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to conduct stress echocardiograms, leveraging your expertise to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
  • Liaise with hospital personnel, private referrers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Demonstrated experience in performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
