About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our Clinical Diagnostic Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, collaborating with cardiologists, and working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients with precision and accuracy.
  • Generate interim reports independently, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to conduct stress echocardiograms, leveraging your expertise to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Liaise with hospital personnel, private referrers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Demonstrated experience in performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
