About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our Clinical Diagnostic Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients, generating interim reports, and collaborating with cardiologists on stress echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms for both inpatients and outpatients.
- Generate interim reports independently.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to conduct stress echocardiograms.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Liaise effectively with hospital personnel, private referrers, contracted agencies, and family members.
Key Requirements
- Completion of an accredited cardiac ultrasound qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Demonstrated experience in performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
