About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Membership Manager to lead our in-club team of Member Support Consultants and drive membership growth and retention.

The successful candidate will combine sales expertise, exceptional customer service capability, and motivational leadership skills to develop a culture that inspires prospective members and ensures existing members are motivated to continue their fitness journey.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Manage the daily workflow of the club's MSC team to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Achieve individual proportionate monthly and annual sales targets contributing to the team's success.
  • Create a structure to ensure the MSC team achieves daily minimum performance criteria.
  • Assist with the delivery of sales training to develop the MSC team.
  • Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Support the Club and Regional Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth.

Requirements:

">
  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPIs.
  • Understand the cycle of selling and various sales techniques including up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Previous experience managing the customer journey to achieve successful customer outcomes and understanding of customer retention strategies and metrics is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Ability to set and motivate others towards a goal.
  • Experience using business computer systems.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
