We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Desk Officer to join our team for an initial 3-month contract and contribute to delivering exceptional customer support.
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of knowledge base articles.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
