Job Title: Service Desk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Desk professional to join our team at ASG Group. As a Service Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing technical support and assistance via phone, email, and remote assistance tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Log all customer interactions accurately in our ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless resolution of customer issues, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer locations for troubleshooting and support, as needed.
  • Assist with documenting and updating knowledge base articles for common issues and resolutions, ensuring our team's collective knowledge is up-to-date and accessible.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Valid Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work on-site at customer locations, with a willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Technical expertise in Windows laptop hardware and software, with a basic understanding of network and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with IT Service Management tools, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
