Job Role Summary

This is a key role within the community, focused on developing and implementing programs that promote reconciliation and cultural understanding.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop educational content for schools and community groups to foster greater understanding and respect.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to advance reconciliation efforts through strategic partnerships.
  • Provide training and support for staff members on Indigenous cultural awareness and protocols to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to policy development related to Indigenous affairs, ensuring alignment with organizational values.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in education or social sciences, with a strong focus on Indigenous cultures and histories.
  • Experience in program development, curriculum design, and delivery to effectively engage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building.
