Event Videographer Job Description

Shootday, a global photography, videography, and production platform, is seeking a talented event videographer to join our freelance network in Sydney.

Job Overview:

As an event videographer, you will capture memorable moments at various events and deliver high-quality raw images that tell compelling visual stories.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Capture high-quality RAW videos on time, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Cover diverse events, including corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
  • Capture key moments, candid shots, and the event ambiance, showcasing the unique atmosphere of each event.
  • Adapt your approach to each event's unique needs, demonstrating flexibility and creativity.
  • Collaborate with other videographers when needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Utilize professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers (gimbals), and high-quality microphones, ensuring exceptional video quality.
  • Guide participants and set up shots for the best results, providing expert guidance and direction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio, showcasing your skills and expertise.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude, ensuring effective collaboration and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in different environments and event types, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Reliable transportation to get to event locations, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
  • Strong technical skills with videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and stabilizers.
  • A team player who works well with others when needed, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • A videography degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in videography principles and techniques.
