We're seeking a talented Editorial Videographer to join our team, responsible for creating engaging video content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities- Pitch, research, report, and script news videos and packages.
- Manage video production from ideation to post-production, ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines.
- Develop a keen eye for creative ways to tell stories, staying up-to-date with the latest off-platform video trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the newsroom and wider company to identify opportunities for audience-first videos across multiple platforms.
- Ensure all journalistic and legal standards are followed.
- Have a strong understanding of social video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Some experience as a creative storyteller with technical proficiency in shooting and editing video content.
- Experience with Photoshop.
- Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, including knowledge of framing, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and maintaining camera equipment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction.
