Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for clients.
- Prepare client/production and weekly sales meetings.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to increase profitable revenue in applicable venue/s.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the audiovisual department activities.
- Administer weekly billing.
- Maintain effective communication with our Accounts Department, other venues, and interstate offices.
- Previous experience in meetings and events is essential.
- Proven track record of a successful event management career.
- Sound knowledge of Audio-Visual Equipment and the hire thereof.
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management & account management skills.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Solid track record in managing a high-performing team and within a third-party venue.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Customer-centric and ability to build strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
- Previous experience in serving high-end clients is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
- Strong rostering and cost management experience.
- Experience in the hospitality or luxury sector.
- Qualification in Hospitality or Events is highly regarded.
- Team player.
- Working rights in the country where the role is based.
