Scentre Group's Westfield destinations are the heart of many communities, and our Security team plays a vital role in providing safe and secure environments for customers, staff, and visitors.
We are seeking an experienced Security Training Manager to lead our training programs, ensuring that our security teams have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of security.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security training programs across our Westfield centres. This includes creating tailored content to address capability gaps, working with external training providers, and managing the transition of training materials into our Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Design and deliver engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually, for diverse audiences, focusing on critical incident response, security protocols, and best practices.
- Enhance Security Capabilities: Collaborate with risk and security managers to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs that strengthen centre teams' security skills.
- Provide Coaching and Support: Offer ongoing coaching and support to centre teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within our security community.
- Partner with Security Experts: Work with specialized security training providers to implement tailored programs that meet our unique needs and improve overall security capabilities.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance their fit-for-purpose and maximize security outcomes.
What Sets You Apart:
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs related to security protocols and best practices.
- A strong track record of delivering results in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong planning, presentation, and delivery capabilities, ensuring effective training sessions and presentations.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in understanding and responding to the needs of different audiences to enhance training effectiveness.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
