Senior Aged Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate aged care professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and teamwork skills.
The successful candidate will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and knowledge of the aged care sector. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to facilitate training and development opportunities for team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Leadership: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored care plans that reflect the unique needs of each resident.
- Resident-Centered Care: Collaborate with residents to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, mobility, and comfort.
- Quality Assurance: Lead and monitor care delivery to meet Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring excellence in every aspect of care.
- Staff Development: Support and mentor junior staff, including Enrolled Nurses, to develop their skills and confidence.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Knowledge of aged care sector and standards.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current National Police Clearance and up-to-date COVID and Flu Vaccinations.
