Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to the elderly? We are seeking a part-time Carer to join our dedicated team at Coolibah Care's aged care facility in Mandurah & Peel, Western Australia. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care and support to our valued residents, ensuring their safety, comfort and well-being.
What you'll be doing
Assisting residents with their daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobilisation
Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate staff
Engaging residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver person-centred care
What we're looking for
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care)
Experience in providing personal care to the elderly, preferably in a residential aged care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with residents
A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of older adults
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A Police Clearance ( less than 6 months old), Evidence of Flu Vaccination 2024 and 2 Covid Vaccinations
