  • We offer competitive pay rates above the Award, with an hourly base rate of $26.10 exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation.
  • You will receive 11.5% Superannuation contributions.
  • Shift penalties apply for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
  • Additional pay is provided for weekend work (time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays).
  • A company-provided uniform is included.
  • You will have access to comprehensive paid training and be enrolled in a Cert III course.
  • Fatigue management strategies are in place.
  • Rosters are published two weeks in advance, offering flexibility for a balanced work and personal life.
  • Opportunities for internal promotions and secondments are available.
About the Role

In this exciting position, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers. As a Check-In Crew member, your responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly at check-in, processing and verifying travel documents, assigning seats, and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers.

You will also assist with gate boarding procedures, marshal passengers as needed, and manage disruptions. Your efforts will make a significant impact on travellers' journeys.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers with a smile at check-in.
  • Process and verify travel documents accurately.
  • Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers efficiently.
  • Assist with gate boarding procedures safely.
  • Marshal passengers and manage disruptions effectively.
Essential Requirements
  • You must have a professional appearance and demeanour.
  • You should have high proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • You should be proficient in computer skills.
  • You need to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • You must obtain an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • You need to be flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • You should be able to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
  • You need to be available to work shifts spanning 05:00 - 23:00.
  • You must commit to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
  • You need to be available for 2 weeks of full-time paid training.
