Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator with a passion for delivering exceptional event outcomes. As the primary point of contact, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

This role involves the sale, coordination, and delivery of events, including private celebrations, weddings, conferences, and corporate gatherings.

  • Respond to client enquiries, generate leads, and work towards achieving sales targets.
  • Maintain open communication with the Operations team, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
  • SOURCE NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND PARTICIPATE IN WEEKLY TEAM MEETINGS FOR EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in sales, events/event management, or FOH dining operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, paired with professional written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using reservations systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events under pressure and adapt to changing priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Safe Food Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Management

You will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely responses to client inquiries.

Event Coordination

You will coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.

Budget Management

You will work within established budgets to deliver events that meet or exceed client expectations.

Team Collaboration

You will collaborate with the Operations team, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.

Professional Development

You will stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve your skills and performance.
