Job Title: Principal Environmental Scientist

This is a senior-level position for an experienced environmental professional seeking to drive growth and success in contaminated site management.

The role involves leading a team in managing existing workloads, developing client relationships, and collaborating with clients to support business growth. We offer flexibility to determine the team's direction, focusing on contaminated sites or expanding into hazmat/WHS/Occupational Hygiene or Remediation/Engineering.

Our current pipeline includes contaminated land PSI/DSI across landfills, brownfields, acquisitions/due diligence, remediation, and developments. This presents a unique opportunity to build on our strengths and expand into new areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of environmental professionals in delivering existing workloads.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships in Melbourne and VIC market.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to support growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering with 12+ years' experience in contaminated sites/environmental consulting and/or industry environment in VIC.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and growing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
