Environmental Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to lead and manage contaminated land projects. As a key member of our specialist team, you will deliver high-profile environmental projects for diverse clients.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work with experts across Defence, Infrastructure, Mining, and more. You will collaborate with a team of scientists, engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, and remediation specialists to deliver complex site investigation and remediation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead medium to large-scale contaminated land projects from conception to completion.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
  • Deliver high-quality reports, proposals, and communications for clients and regulators.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities.
  • Navigate stakeholder engagement with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Minimum 8 years' professional experience in contaminated land projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of National and Victorian environmental regulations, guidelines, and reporting standards relevant to contaminated sites.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on quality and delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
