About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our food manufacturing site in Gosford, Central Coast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring that production meets and exceeds customer and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, and safety, to ensure that we meet and exceed customer and company expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and safety, embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide your team, fostering an environment where innovation and accountability thrive.
  • Strategic Management: Manage the site's P&L, budgets, and long-term strategic goals, ensuring alignment with the company's broader vision.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with other NSW sites to support production overflow and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing management, with a track record of leading a plant or site.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including R&D, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and bottleneck management.
  • Culture Fit: A leader who is present, leads from the front, mentors staff, engaging, safety-focused, and committed to building on the existing strong positive team culture.
