About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to lead and manage our maintenance and engineering team at FMC Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance and drive continuous improvements in meeting maintenance department objectives and targets with both long- and short-term plans.
  • Review and optimize our preventative maintenance program to improve reliability, costs, and equipment uptime.
  • Ensure the availability and regular review of work instructions and SOPs for maintenance practices and activities.
  • Supervise and develop a high-performing maintenance team to meet results through cooperation and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) plans and support PHA execution.
  • Lead the collection and maintenance of PSI data and manifests.
  • Lead or assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve health, safety, environmental, and productivity problems.
  • Be responsible for evaluating and approving all final design documents for the Management of Change procedure.
  • Promote a culture of safety and support site safety efforts.
  • Accountable for safe, efficient, and effective contractor management, including execution and administration of site small CAPEX projects and maintenance vendor service agreements.
  • Plan and control maintenance OPEX budget, including capital expenditures.
  • Debottleneck processes and practices and lead the development and execution of small to medium projects in coordination with the Tech Center.
  • Represent Maintenance in audits and participate in internal and external quality system audits.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in maintaining manufacturing plant with a focus on reliability aspects.
  • Strong team leadership, people development, and coaching skills to improve team performance and effectiveness.
  • Experience in SAP PM module or similar.
  • Experience in conducting RCA and FMEA.
  • Experience in managing and leading minor capital projects and execution.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse group.
  • Skilled in LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
