Job Description

Location: Gosford Region – Central Coast  
Salary Package: $145k - $165k + Super + 10% Bonus

Role Overview

As the Site Operations Manager, you’ll inherit a site that has already seen significant transformation. Your mission? Build on this foundation by optimizing operations, enhancing production capabilities, and mentoring a team that includes operational and R&D staff. 
You’ll be the driving force behind new initiatives, all while ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and align with the company’s strategic goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading with Purpose: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring that production meets and exceeds customer & company expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and safety, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide your team, fostering an environment where innovation and accountability thrive.
  • Strategic Management: Manage P&L, budgets, and long-term strategic goals, ensuring the site’s alignment with the broader company vision.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with other NSW sites to support production overflow and share best practices.

Candidate Profile 

You are a hands-on, people-focused leader with extensive experience in end-to-end manufacturing operations. 

We're looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in FMCG manufacturing management, with a proven track record leading a plant, such as a plant/site manager
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on team engagement.
  • Commercial acumen, you need to know your numbers and will have full site & P&L responsibilities 
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes, including R&D, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and bottleneck management.
  • Culture Fit: A leader who is present, leads from the front, mentors staff, engaging, safety focused and committed to building on the existing strong positive team culture.

  • Salary range: $145k - $165k + Super + Bonus
  • Location: Gosford, Central Coast

  • Travel to Sydney and other sites as required – once a quarter
