ClearCompany is a leading dairy products manufacturer, and we're seeking a skilled Site Operations Technician to join our team at our Longwarry site.
As a Site Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our chemical treatment systems and boilers. This will involve observing, checking, testing, and recording duties to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily boiler water sampling and testing, utilities readings, and boilers manual blowdown/draining.
- Operate and Maintain DAF and Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Perform weekly pond dynamics and chemical levels checks, coordinating with Nalco for system checks.
- Maintain TDS blowdowns and report any abnormal problems.
- Participate in project work as required.
- Assist in the training of new staff and/or functions when needed.
- Proactively seek continuous improvement opportunities within the business.
- Promote and participate in the Safety Management System and develop a proactive safety culture.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Fitter or related fields (desired).
- Proven field service experience in a similar technical role, with a mechanical aptitude and experience using a wide range of hand tools.
- Industrial experience and knowledge in FMCG.
- Excellent numeracy and literary skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- The ability to plan and organize work.
- To work independently or as part of a team.
