Job Title

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Federal Government agency as a Participant Support Officer. The role involves managing and resolving participant matters, providing counter/reception support, and resolving customer enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have Australian Citizenship and experience in the disability, health or aged care sector. They will be able to manage multiple tasks, work effectively in a team, and provide excellent customer service.

This is a contract position with a 12-month term. It is available in three locations: Burwood, Surry Hills, or Bankstown.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks
  • Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including participant enquiries in self-help kiosks and online support
  • Resolve customer enquiries, provide information and/or refer customers to appropriate government or community services
  • Coordinate appointments using Agency office facilities, ensuring they are accessible for participants
  • Undertake research and investigation activities, preparing associated reports and correspondence
  • Perform data entry activities, ensuring follow-up is completed
  • Receive and record complaints and other feedback in Business systems
