Financial Reporting Specialist Role in Defence Projects

This position involves preparing and analysing financial reports for defence projects and sustainment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with experience in project finance or defence financial roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports for defence projects and sustainment.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters.
  • Support invoice processing, asset reconciliations, and impairment reviews.
  • Contribute to defence-specific reporting (e.g. MPR, PPRIP, SPMS).
  • Provide advice on compliance with financial legislation and defence frameworks.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in project finance or defence financial roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems.
  • Understanding of defence financial frameworks and reporting tools.
  • Ideally relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher).
