About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Support Officer to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex defence projects.

The Project Support Officer will be responsible for providing strategic schedule reporting and analysis, coordinating and maintaining supporting schedule documentation, and supporting governance reporting through weekly status updates, financial tracking, and milestone progress.

  • Provide detailed project schedules and resource plans to support milestone delivery.
  • Coordinate task tracking and issue resolution in dynamic environments.
  • Maintain project registers and support risk mitigation strategies to ensure delivery continuity.
What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to manage detailed project schedules and resource plans.
  • Strong coordination skills across workforce planning, task tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Experience maintaining project registers and supporting risk mitigation strategies.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

In addition, the successful candidate must currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
