We are seeking an accomplished Finance and Commercial Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for Defence projects and sustainment, identifying areas of improvement and providing insightful recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring seamless communication on financial and commercial matters.
  • Support the processing of invoices, asset reconciliations, and impairment reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Contribute to Defence-specific reporting, utilizing knowledge of financial management systems and frameworks to deliver high-quality results.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

This role requires a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. Successful candidates will possess excellent analytical skills, commercial acumen, and proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems, with knowledge of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher), such as a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

A current Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance is required. Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
