
Senior HR Strategist

As a senior HR leader, you will lead a highly committed team at a respected central agency, driving strategic initiatives and delivering innovative workforce solutions.
The role involves leading a team of approximately 20 professionals across key HR functions, including business partnering, employee and industrial relations, recruitment, and health, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and operational management to teams delivering diverse HR services.
- Offer expert advice on complex people management issues.
- Contribute to the strategic direction, partnerships, and service delivery models for the People and Culture branch.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance workforce initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of a Strategic Workforce Plan.
- Champion a performance culture, using a coaching approach to develop team capabilities and enhance client-focused services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead teams delivering diverse HR services, with strong prioritisation, collaboration, and resource-sharing skills.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in human resource management, ideally within the public service.
- Strong engagement skills with executive leaders and stakeholders.
