About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the organisation's strategic financial planning, budgeting, management and reporting, capital planning and facilities management, and risk management.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, they will also be a key member of the Finance and Infrastructure and Audit and Risk Committees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability;
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes;
  • Oversee capital planning and facilities management to ensure effective use of resources;
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the organisation's financial stability;
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborators, and partners;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;

About You

The successful candidate will be CA / CPA qualified with proven experience as a strategic CFO in a large, complex organisation. Experience within a regulated environment is highly desirable.

You will possess outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborators, and partners.

You will also be an exceptional leader, able to develop the capability of your team members and the function as a whole.

Whilst being of the Catholic faith is preferred, it is not mandatory. However, you should have genuine respect for the Catholic ethos, mission, and values, and reflect these in your duties.
