The role of Head of Financial Planning is a senior leadership position within our organisation. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a rolling three-year operating budget aligned with organisational goals
  • Provide high-level financial advice to support executive decision-making
  • Analyse financial implications of service changes and external funding shifts, identifying associated risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and appraise complex business cases, CAPEX proposals, and strategic investment options
  • Deliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to support long-term planning and sustainability
  • Oversee budgetary control systems, ensuring accurate and timely feedback to cost centre managers
  • Lead the design and delivery of financial performance reporting across all divisions

This position requires strong leadership and analytical skills, as well as experience in financial planning and analysis. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, and relevant professional certifications such as CPA or CFA.
